i know things have moved on.

I know things like good ABS and a non leaky roof and traction control and proper windscreen wipers are all tremendously useful

i know water cooling is a really good idea (ho ho)

but just look at it

Shh..... don`t say peach or the thread will keep on going for ever. Damn I`ve just said it again.

The perfect car to keep tucked away in you garage for some summer fun. And a lovely in the flesh. The car, not Anna.

oh well. if only it could be "used as a daily driver" as well as "tucked away in your garage for some summer fun" then I would have been very tempted

I drove an 88 3.2 targa SSE yesterday, such nostalgia for me. The weighty steering, the thud of the doors, the engine note, just loved it. Still felt pretty nippy too. Its being checked over as we speak

Very Nice!
The wide body targa combo really does look the business IMHO. For me it ipitomizes the 1980s brash rudeness. Love it!

Great car just PX one against a 993 C4S, albeit a Cabriolet
Don't like Targa's though in any form ruins the lines.

Porsche's may have got "better" but 993RS aside, I don't think they have got any better looking since the late 80's.

Prefer coupes myself, but that is one nice looking car thumbup
