993 Interior "cassette holder" and more.

Having just bought my 993 C4, I am not that fond of the above in the middle binnacle.
Can this be removed and replaced with something more practical or attractive (or both)?
Also has anyone bought the alluminium gauge surrounds I see on several sites. They look nice on their own, but have yet to see a photo.

You can replace the cassette holder with cd holder or a tray. I have the tray. (genuine parts available from the OPC)
