996 Interior Trim Change

Need a bit of help. I've purchased some replacement trim for my 996 and need some advice on swapping it.

1st is the 3 piece dash trim that runs across the centre of the car. Anyone replaced this themselves & if so any pointers on how to do it

2nd id speaker grilles. Having looked at the new ones looks like the door cards need to come off. Again anyone done this.

cannell will certainly help with the speaker grilles

the dash stip is an absolute bastard to get out

it is "slightly" easlier if your car is a facelift fitted with a glove box.

there is a tuturial on RennTech showing you how to bodge it - pm me if you cant a copy

i had mine done by my local spanner man. he charged me 1.5 hours labour but bloody hell did he have problems. I was quite happy for him to bodge it but he did it the proper way and even gave back the original black strip will all the hex screws. great job
