In short , not happy. Not doing ANY track days , just want better brakes for "fast-road" use , i CANNOT increase the side of the discs due to the techart split-rim set up. Possibly a new 2-piece discs (alloy bells etc) & a set of pads?

Any suggestions or links to a supplier greatly appreciated.

Also , i assume its worth doing all four corners?

Just do fronts, that's more than enough for street, most guys that upgrade just do fronts anyway!

What size of wheels are you running?

Surprised you are getting the brakes too hot on the road. A high initial grip pad may work better or it may be that you have to press the pedal much harder than you think is normal.

If your running stock 4 pots just upgrade to a decent fluid Castrol SRF, Motul RBF600, ATE Blue, there are a few others also, then upgrade your pads, I'm running Pagids (Orange) a few others run Blue, but any of these will be more than enough for street work.

In my honest opinion, I think it's more about the cooling that counts, getting good airflow to cool these disc is essential and you will see a massive improvement!

stick some pagid yellows and racing fluid in there and you won't believe the difference.

You're saying that your brakes are fading/pedal travel is increasing when you drive on the road?
