New M3 V8 Engine copies Porsche

Just looking at the spec of the new M3 v8 Lump ,seems that they like Porsche are using a simular bore set up. IE Iron coated pistons running in silicon bores.Revs to 8 plus so they must be pretty confident, time will tell, if not Baz you may be linering a few Beemer engines in 3 years time!!
