Hello there, just days away from selling the 968 (hopefully) and I have spotted a 993 C2s with 88,000 on the clock for sale for 25k at a location not too far away from me. It has had 2 owners. I haven't viewed the car yet and would clearly want an independant inspection but could anyone give me some views on whether this is a good price. It seems to be in a popular lightish blue hue colour which is not my first choice but seems nice enough.

Thats an excellent price for an C2S assuming it has full history (with receipts) and nothing major needs doing.

It is near Strathclyde, ho-hum. Thought at that price it wouldn't hang around too long. Mind you I phoned the guy at 12.30 and he took my number and told me it was still available.

Sorry mate, was only joking. Couldn't resist it. Took a quick look at your profile and noticed the location...

It's been a long day - I found out that I should have bought a 360 over a TT...

Bloody eck 25k for a C2S sure its not the tiptronic S rather than the turbo body S?

I just paid £32,500 for mine last Friday. Mind you it is in mint condition and no rust around the windscrean, torn leather, oil leaks, dodgy A/C, strage rattles or fag burns. And its only done 49K (50K now)And is in yellow. Only prob is the seat dose not go back far enough for a 6'3 driver.

Yes mine stands me at £33.5k.
73k miles 3 owners, artic Silver Lux pack everything works RSR pipes, not a mark in site and its the C4S, so turbo brakes/suspension/wheels & drive.
So the C2S at this money is fantastic value, but maybe a lemon. I looked at a few and there is some shite out there, like all 911's

I looked all over the country for the last 2 - 3 years. Most needed huge amounts spending, so I decided to save money by upping my budget. Most were just under 30K and looked there age.

You know you can manually move the seat - 10 minute job with a socket set. There are three bolt-in positions I think

Hmmm, that does seem a bit cheap. If you can rule out it being a TipS rather than the pukka C2S, then it may be worth a full inspection, unless you can see obvious problems with a prior cursory inspection of course.

Turns out that it is a tip - and I'm only interested in the manual. Would have been good to see that kind of basic detail in the ad !! Anyone know of any 993 c2s manuals going at a reasonable price?

Agree, a good manual car will be circa £32k, unless you go LHD.
