Just about to swap my 997 for a 996TT with PCM2. I don't think I ever tried MP3 CDs in my old 996 PCM2 System, but now use them all the time in the 997. Can anyone tell me if the 996 PCM2 system can read MP3 CDs with the files organised in folders etc.?

pretty sure it cant. wont be able to test until next weekend though. however, you could always plug an IPOD in and be done with all that cd malarky.

Even Better, I didn't realise you could get an Ipod kit for the PCM2. Is there a hard wired system for it then rather than using ITrip (I think the quality is rubbish on those) - if so, does anyone have any idea of where to get one from and how easy/difficult they are to wire in to the PCM2 system???
