996 Gt3 Mk2 aftermarket exhaust systems

Any inputs on whats good ,sound and quality wise,full systems or just back boxes? anyone got one that Porsche accept as not invalidating warranty ?

Manthey-Racing, along with the K410 kit, is excellent.

All aftermarket items run the risk of invalidating the warranty - no OPC will tell you otherwise. However, I have renewed and claimed on my extended OPC warranty for more than one year despite all the Manthey modifications (which I have disclosed before renewing) - as long as the claim relates to something that is not affected by the modified part, they seem to be ok. But you will be taking some degree of risk.

The OPC warranty excludes the exhaust system anyway, so any exhaust mods don't invaidate the warranty because there's nothing to invalidate.

Surely different exhausts can create different back pressures tho which may or may not damage an engine but could give Opc's an excuse if ever the worse happened?

that's why I would never go with a cheap ebay exhaust or something that wasn't tested properly to ensure reduced back pressure
