964 dual outlet exhaust, anyone done it???
Discussion
As per the title really, just toying with another mad hat idea to make mine a little different, I've heard the Maxflow (www.design911.co.uk/images/96422096402.jpg) exhausts and like the sound, but am curious to see if anyone has any experiences of anything else.
I know 9m are doing one, and I like the idea of this.........but opinions and options.....
TIA
Kevin.

Hi i have a 1977 911 which i am nearing the end of a 964 turbo body conversion. A company in Billericay in Essex are making me a twin exhaust system in stainless not a single with a dummy side but a prop working twin for £575 all in!
Company is 2Extreme motorsport 01268 534471 If your interested call them up and tell them Wayne recommended you who is bringing his car up in few weeks
Hope this helps
Wayne
My 964RS has a cat by-pass, Cargraphic twin-outlet primary pipe (I would've said silencer, but I don't think it's anything more than a hollow pipe), and a g-pipe.
At idle and around town the exhaust note is a very deep burble - sounds almost V8. When you open it up the exhaust note changes from deep burble to very, very upset, wailing banshee.
It's quite a bit louder than a standard RS. It registered 108.9DBa at Castle Combe
- suffice to say I didn't get on.
