Putting rear seat belts in the GT2
Discussion
I took my little girl ( 11 years old ) out in the GT2 last week
she sat in the back and although she was securely positioned in the back with no belts
Ive decided it better to have them installed after reading another post which mentioned about fitting seat belts in the rear of the GT2
although there is no seat as such she said it is comfortacble sitting on the rear carpet .
I looked into this 4 years ago when I originally wanted to buy a GT3 comfort
but Porsche would not retro fit the belts
As mine is a comfort and not a Club Sport any problems I could experience ?
bearing in mind my GT3 RS has the rear carpet out and the rear seat belt fixings are there although plugged ! ( it was a C4 shell )

So long as it has the tilting seat backs, I don't see any problem whatsoever in a GT2, and I may well do the same in my GT3.
With a bit of common sense it is perfectly safe. Just check that there is no risk of whiplash if someone runs into the back of you.
It is important to notify your insurers though. Just say that you have retro-fitted the rear belts for occasional use by your children.
