Spotted black T-bod speedster US spec
Discussion
Havent seen a single Porsche in Thailand then all of a sudden there is a Black Turbo bodied 3.2 Carrera Speedster US spec on Bangkok plates sitting outside the golf reception in our grubby little hotel in Phuket.
Also saw it leaving an apres game of golf meal, probably at the Supper Club ?
Quite a smart choice of Porsche for Thailand, not too much to go wrong so long as you've got a spare DME relay in the glovebox. not sure if anyone on here (you'd need to be an enthusiast to own a Porsche in Thailand given it's much easier to fix a Toyota or Mercedes).
If it was you and you do read pistonheads Sawatdee

Keep swinging
Staying as I am in a tiny little hostel at the end of Soi Crocodile in Patong I fritter away the long lonely nights seeing the blokes walk their new "friends" home to their hotel rooms. Being sober as I am I can tell their new lady friends may in fact not be quite the err... ladies they think. What I would give to be a fly on the wall as their pretty Thai goddess removes her skirt to reveal an amazing set of wedding vegetables (a lovely phrase borrowed from elsewhere on this site !).
As for Thailand, Ok if you like near deserted beaches, lovely food, friendly folk, great diving, wall to wall massages, sunshine, cold beer & so on. Other than that not much appeal to the place really. Oh and the fact all the local totty keeps reminding you that you're a velly handsome man.
Tell me its raining back in blighty, please
Still only seen the one Porker so I dont think we'll be seeing a 911virgin Thailand just yet !

20 degrees you say. Bloody hell don't forget to put an extra layer on when you go out. 34 degrees out here, luckily the beer is particularly well chilled as I watch the F1 Malaysian GP.
Don't forget your factor 15 !
Off for a quick night dive in a moment. Still sheer hell out here, can't wait to get back.

On the other hand........ fully tax deductible, might take 18 months to 5 years to get off the ground and in the meantime trade Mrs H in for a slinky Thai number. A humble abode to rest my weary head of an evening and a pool to keep the heat off during the day, actually no, make that a couple of pools and one an infinity pool.
Hmm, the more I think of it the more sense it makes.
Hold the front page: 911virgin to open Phuket branch. Open weekend to be advised with the promise of free booze & extras.
Try getting that off a specialist based near Pickering
