996 wind deflector

Any recommendations please, the guy I bought my car from said the official one was
a bit fragile (obviously as he broke it) but stowed away nicely in the front.

edited to add some other pertinent questions like:
Do they even work ?
When the roof is up, my head is very close to touching it, so would a deflector do much ?
Does anyone have one they want to sell ? (yes have put a wanted ad in the classifieds)
