What are you upgrading? I would assume you are talking about a programme?

DMS say it's undetectable, though as far as I know it's never been tested.

Strikes me that if boost pressure is increased, it woul d be very very easy indeed for Porsche to check using telemetry. They probably won't bother if you're claiming for a new electric window motor, but if you've got a busted crank then they may well want to do a bit more sniffing.

Have DMS/an owner ever tested whether OPC can find the remap?

ETA - from what I hear DMS are top chaps, and if you did suffer a grenading engine they may well help, but they woudn't be obliged to.........

I beleive that DMS claim that it is undetectable by Porshce themselves,

A pretty strong claim which would result DMS being liable for the repair if Porsche decided to kick out the claim due to the map.

Now Robs a top bloke and tbh i think that if you did ever have any problems then he would help you all the way,

Not only that but DMS mapped my Gt2 a while back,

I drive the thing like I stole it and have never had any major problems.

Just my 2p's worth

BS! Porsche dealers have to send all ECU data to Germany to be checked when an engine blows up and Porsche AG can obviously tell. But if you claim a gearbox for instance and the tech drives the car to test it... he can obviously tell the car's been remap, isn't it????

You would have thought, Map wasn't mentioned when i tried to claim for a box,

It was thrown out due to apparant wear and tear.
