Only had it a week and gave it a good clean today, so thought I would post a pic or two...Still grin whenever I see it
I did have to think a bit about the colour, as I tend to go for black cars, but thought the red sits well on the 997S, well IMO anyway..
I had the kit and wheels done to idividualise it a bit and was suprisingly affordable, although they never told me what a b
it is to clean painted wheels.....

I've never owned a 911 before and always wanted one and I'm glad to say its everything I expected and more. Absolutely loving everything about it....

The amount of ridiculously tasty metal in this forum is; frankly; disgusting with a capital Y. Y? Because none of it belongs to me.
OP - your car is awesome. Awesome. I love Guards Red, me. What wing have you on the back there? I think I like it.
ETA _ Ahh... never mind. It's the GT3 wing. The car is that shiny that i missed the canted vertical supports so it looked different.

Thanks Loach, its the standard Porsche 997 Cup Kit (GT3 looky likey). New nose and spoiler (no side skirts with the 997 kit). Heres a better pic of the wing...photos not of a great quality sorry.

Please tell me it's a manual...... Please. I think it's fantastic that you've gone to the lengths you have - nice to see something a little bit different and something that wasn't ordered with anyone in mind but yourself - and I mean that in the most positive way imaginable. Love the job on the wheels; it sets off the Aerokit to perfection. Big thumbs up from me. That's gorgeous.
Feck - I'm not very good at this. OK - you've had it a week and the car is an '05 - so you didn't order it for ourself which makes my previous comment look stupid. Never mind. It's still gorgeous, and you did have to select it from all the used 997s on offer. So let's just say you have great taste, then, and that I need to go to bed earlier.

Ughhh...Actually its a TIP......
It has every option ticked and even some extra ones, as it was the car used by Porsche at the UK motor shows.... I was looking for a manual but it just seemed too good to be true. Plus I use it as the daily drive and having the full auto mode maintains my sanity when stuck in traffic (which happens often) and its not THAT bad down the lanes in tip mode too be honest.....
here is one with AERO kit? might be same thing. It has grey wheels & they look great
