Stubborn tar fleck removal?
Discussion
Folks,
Washed car y'day, but did not want to apply too much elbow grease until I got your expereince on the following:
At first glance car now loks clean. However, when looking closer as only a cleaner would do, there are minute black spots ( must be dirt, or tar when I drove through a re-surfacing stretch). What is the kindest and most effective removal means please?
Which product name to use please?
Btw is mutton cloth the same as Micor cloth please?
Thx.

Never heard of Mutton Cloth
don't risk it, just use a Microfibre.
I would personally use Clay followed by HD Cleanse or Meguiars Paint Cleaner before your Wax. Claying should definately remove most of the stubborn tar spots.

Pardon my daft Q, but where do I buy those from and is HD an acronym or brand plse?
HD Cleanse is a paint cleaner/preparation treatment from Zymol, also very easy to use.
Try google for your nearest stockist. The Meguiars is a similar product which is sold at most larger Halfords or good car care suppliers.
