Tech advice on 964 C4 Diff Lock Light

Wonder if anyone can assist with diff lock light question..? The light appears after constant driving (usually on motorways). Having looked at other posts, most have had problems with the light appearing at start up.
Could this still be the ABS sensors? I Have checked the oil and it is at the correct level. Anybody any other thoughts on what could be causing this?
