What's the Ah figure for the existing battery? You should aim to at least equal, preferably better that.

When I needed I new battery I took the physical measurements of the old one including the positions of the connection poles, looked to see if I could get a bigger one in the available space, then went and bought the beefiest battery I could get that would fit. It happened to be a Fulmen, but many here have recommended the Bosch Silver. Anything is better than the Porsche batteries it seems.

A 'better' Ah figure would be more or less? Mechanical ignoramus here! Selling car so I don't need best battery going just a 'safe' one for the car.

Bigger (higher number) Ah and A would be good 75AH and 720A doesnt sound bad though. One relates to how powerful the battery is the other to how long it will take to drain on a steady use I think, cant remember which is which (think A is the power and AH the time to drain)

Put the key in the ignition and turn to the first position before you disconnect then leave it there as your put in the new one. Think that was what worked for me.
