car phone probs

First niggle has reared it's head with the car the phone was working fine but just started cutting off as if its not seeing the sim anymore . Tried the sim in the phone and all is fine . Anyone else has prob's like this with the factory phone setup.

Hi Keith, have you a PCM1 or 2? Either way it sounds like the SIM may be a bit dirty, try cleaning it gently with a bit of white spirit on a cotton bud. That should sort it. Otherwise, pack out the rear of the sim with a bit of card as it may be losing the contact with the contacts of the phone kit, a bit of card might just push it onto them firmly. Hope it works!
