Hi, first post after serveral months lurking & learning.

My Boxster will soon be due first service since its purchase. I've read with interest the multitude of OPC posts (usually not that positive) however I will be going down he OPC route rather than indy (for now).

My local OPC is Bournemouth however I do work in Surrey so there are other options available, any feedback on Bournemouth OPC?

Thanks
Mosman

Camtune are in Godalming and are good as are GT One in Chertsey if you dont want to go down the OPC route

Sorry wasn't trying to start another OPC/Indy thread

For me that car was too much of an investment to not go "by to book". I do understand that a good Indy is better than an OPC but afraid I'm not brave enough to take that route. The car is has outstanding warranty that I will also extend so was just gauging opinion about my local OPC.

One other quick question, I travel around Europe quite a bit for work and sometimes it is hard to plan too far ahead. Any idea how much notice I would need to give to get a courtesy car?

Cheers for the replies.

Haven't serviced a car at Bournemouth (too far from Cornwall) but bought a 996TT from them a while back and thought they were very good. Worth a go.

I take my car to OPC Bournemouth. Staff very friendly. Apart from routine servicing, was recovered to there with a broken alternator; process was smooth and efficient (glad I have warranty).
Courtesy car notice, usually 4-6 weeks; normally a Boxster although was a Polo 'Beats' once!! This may change as supposed to be moving to new larger premises.

Just saw the date: Holy thread revival, Batman! smile

It's worth shopping around, prices between OPCs can vary dramatically.

If you're in Surrey I've always found Brooklands much much cheaper than my other local options (Reading & West London).

I can recommend Portsmouth OPC. You’ll drive straight past it on the M27

Great service and compete on prices. Ask for Rob, great bloke.
Have had a few very nice loaners from them, give as much notice as you can and ask what’s available

Mid-Sussex OPC are worth a detour!
