Some weeks back some cheap and childish comments were made by 'Globulator' and 'Sleep envy' within a forum item headed 'Who has got the fittest receptionist?'. The person about whom these remarks were made is Suzanne from Silverstone and anyone who has dealt with her knows that she is the nicest, friendliest yet totally professional lady that you are ever likely to meet on a reception desk - (all that and gorgeous to look at with it).
Guys, she was most upset to have these comments made publically about her - an apology would be nice - chockies or flowers even nicer - I'll leave it to you.

I just re-read that thread. Did I miss the really upsetting and insulting parts, or have I just become terminally insensitive? It seemed like relatively harmless banter to me. Sleep Envy did refer to errm... chrome and tow-hitches; but in connection with someone different. If Suzanne is genuinely upset, then I'll apologise now for my part in proceedings - though maybe you could highlight the comments that upset her. I couldn't see anything awful - it mostly devolved into slagging henry-f off after the first couple of pages, and most of the comments I saw referring to Suzanne were flattering and harmless in equal measure.
Either I've totally misread the thread, Suzanne is extremely sensitive, or your own motivations here are somewhat less than pristine white.

I just re read the thread too and can't really see anything offensive in it, especially towards Suzanne.
Seems to me someone may of reported the thread to Suzanne instead of her reading it herself and over dramatised the whole thing. Can't really see that an apology is required by anyone.

Here are all the comments made about Suzanne...
OPC Silverstone has the ever friendly, helpful and of course lovely Suzanne on 3 days per week
Oh dear God..... the horror of it. If she was my sister I'd kill all of you etc etc
Dude - she may be over-reacting a bit. Though if she has you on here now to set us all straight, she must indeed be as attractive as has been suggested.

Yeah, Suzanne at Silverstone OPC was great when I went there a couple of years ago with the Porsche Club Surrey region. I send her some flowers and on a later visit got chatting to her about the GT3RS in the showroom. Couldn't belive it though when she said she would rather have the silver 996 Turbo parked next to the RS. Girl's got no taste!

I didn`t say anything at the time but I as also a little bit hurt by some of the comments, so much so that I`ve had to take some time off at the advice of my physician.
I wonder if the people who were so cruel towards me might see it in their hearts to forward me a case of a decent Pouilly Fuisse, something with a bit of depth to it - you know, that almost musty taste. If absolutely pushed a Sancerre would suffice, possibly supplemented with a bottle of nicely aged port.
No, I`m not holding my breath. Oh you lot can be so cruel at times.

If that is all it takes to upset the lady I wonder if she is in the right job given the level of sh1t she must have to put up with when the clients call up having found that their PCCBs are shot after 5k miles or that the 996 they bought from them 13 months ago has left all it's oil on the drive, etc.
That said i too suspect that it's a question of either Chinese whispers or perhaps Johnny Fartpants is the jealous boyfriend
