Just saw the most beautiful and perfect TT out there. Saffron Cars in SP. For anyone looking it is totally brand new all round and has every thing including armourfend. I'll probably be mega money though. I could hardly bring myself to walk away from it.

I think they look better than the 997.

I dont mind selling the wife to fund a 50k purchase, 70 thousand is a bit rich. I'm still thinking about the Seal grey one at 50.

I missed an 02 full options car with 22k miles at 45k. The guy bought it from Hatfield OPC and almost didnt use it for 2.5 years!

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Spotted a pristine and gleaming speed yellow 996TT S in the car park at my OPC. Cue rubbing of hands and a quick dash over to have a peek, then cue a depressed lope back from whence I came as soon as I got close enough see a little Tiptronic lever sticking pertly from its gate like a little sailor looking for a date. On a yellow car, too. Tchaa. It's just so bleedin' hard to tell these days.

52 plate <20k miles, the front end needs a repaint and i'd shell out for a new spoiler.

It odes NOT have PCM or heated seats or parking snsors; i'd call that poverty spec.

Half worn tyres and 11 months Porsche warranty.

The rear light / engine lid is out of alignment and I'm wondering why.

seeing a beautiful 996 turbo, falling in love with it only to realise on closer inspection that it is a tip, for me has exactly the same impact as the final 15 minutes of The Crying Game

and i suspect what ted had just watched when he developed the yikes smilie

A remarkably apt simile, given that in both instances illusions get shattered by a few erm... rigid inches of gay. I'll borrow it if I may. I'm going to write these little encounters (where an otherwise beautiful car is rendered as desirable as Jade Goody - after she's really let herself go - due to the presence of an autobox) down in future as CGIs (Crying Game Incidents).

Just from what you've said, I'd leave that one alone. You WILL a better one for your money.

Have a look at the 52 in Lapis at imperials,
if you dont mind paying 49k for a similar spec car.

it is absolutley immaculate, lovely condition.
Just a little more than i am willing to pay for 52 plate

For 50k you could have a years OPC warranty on it too.

Proof that that isn't so, is that I was looking for a manual. The sailor analogy didn't pop into my head until the Tiptronic lever winked at me.

Now that's lush (if I can borrow a nevyism). Delicious. Bit pricey, though. A GT3 RS or a GT2 would look awfully tempting at around that money.
