2.7 RS and 2.8 RSR,,,,,Replica's
Discussion
I know there are many RS replicas around but not so sure about RSR's.
Anyone built one or can recommend a builder ?. Yep, and had an original touring Neil Bainbridge is your man 01296 658 422 - he did mine, perfect lightweight rep apart from opening rear quarters and glass, oh and ghastly gearknob, all but front bumper and seats were genuine rs. images are still on thehairpincompany website but the car has sold.
Also if using a Supersport as a donor what sort of weight and Bhp should I be aiming for ? Speak to Neil, but I would suggest an earlier shell....... what do you want a rep or a lookylikey.

Is this the green car, for £49,995? Looks bloody lovely. Is that about the right price for a good replica?
Yes thats the one - great car i regret selling it - Its about the price for a GREAT replica, Neil rebuilt everything Gearbox, brakes and not to mention 2.9 high compression engine. Interior was replaced felt mats, headliner in black, sill trims in aluminium, lights new wings etc etc. Basically, it costs the same to restore an original as it does to create a perfect rep. Take a look at edmondharris for the price for genuine parts, I understand the chap who bought the green car spent over 100 pounds on the correct glass top gearknob, I couldn t find one.
