Hi guys, I've just gone from a 996 X50 turbo to a 996 GT3 RS. Still cant believe how raw the GT3 RS is and im lovin
it. Just a few questions:

1. Anyone know where I can get another 6 point harness in red.
2. Where can I get a smaller fire extingisher and can it be fitted behind the seats.
3. What are the production numbers (ie how many made)

Thanks for your help, I'll write up a comparison in a few days.

Extinguishers:
www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductList.asp?cls=MSPORT&grp=MC028&pgrp=M019&tlgrp=MS005

Harnesses:
www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductList.asp?cls=MSPORT&grp=MC023&pgrp=M017&tlgrp=MS005

There's lots of other places to get them too, but for a one-stop-shop, Demon Tweeks isn't bad.

Might be a bit difficult to get to an extinguisher behind the seats - not much point having one if you can't get to it easily for use.

Not sure a smaller extinguisher would be much use if there is a fire. In terms of mounting a smaller one, you can get a brey krause mount that allows you to fasten it right at the front of the seat cushion so its more out of the way. Does mean swapping out your current pax harness mount bars though.

Hi, Paul D GT3,
Yes thats me I am Jon Bells mate, I hear Jons enjoying the Atom too.

Thanks guys your all right theres not much point in having a small fire extinghiser fitted, it's just that
I want to have passengers and a big one sits in the passengers footwell.

Is there any where else where it might fit.

Most folks just unbolt and remove the extinguisher tbh. It does look cool when in situ but is not great for passenger comfort. Leaves some holes in the carpet but that just adds to the race car feel!

'proper car' the gt3 rs, especially in blue... i've ordered blue harnesses from JZM which will fitted when the alcons go on to replace the pccb ceramics (which will be either binned or boxed depending on their condition).

I thought it was both more MkI's and fewer MkII's --- anybody to confirm ?

RS seems right.

How many owners?

What's the explanation for the stut tops? They are 800 quid + fitting so an odd thing to put on a non track car for an extra degree castor. Or do you mean a Manthey KW3 suspension kit?

I'm afraid your going to have to ask Timmo about the struts, it was his idea. As it was his old car
he had 2 one in white/red for tracking and one in white/blue for just enjoying.

Must admit trhe car handles like a dream.

have you got any tips on how to drive it.

He's away on his honey moon at the moment So you bought it via East London I guess. Nice guys.

Actually quite surprised he had the strut tops on it as he's a Parr man and the Manthey bits are JZMactech supplied in the UK.
