Is there a difference btwn the gearbox in a manual 997s different and a manual 997 turbo?

Has it been changed much from 996 model?

To hazard a guess, yes and yes.

The turbo boxes typically come with beefier gears and different ratios. If they didn't make changes between 996 and 997 variants I'd be amazed, as at least some of the components always get improved or redesigned even throughout each model year, let alone variant change.
