Warning: Positive Porsche tale ahead...
I haven't driven my Cayman for 6 weeks now, all I've driven is the g/f's (cute) Yaris and a sh*theap called a Ford Territory (Aussie thing).
As it was my birthday over the weekend I went to the effort of getting the car and going for a v. long drive to a country hotel (& back again next day).
There's something really refreshing about getting back into your pride and joy after not driving it for a while. Even though I've had it for a year & 13,000 miles, I felt similar feelings to when I first picked it up! Which was nice
It's absolutely brilliant, feels so special to drive and I'm delighted that it still makes me
PS. Why 6 weeks? I'm having a loft extension that requires considerable amounts of scaffolding installed where the car sits, on the driveway. To keep it off the road and ensure the clumsy builders don't drop something on it, it's safely tucked away at a friend's garage elsewhere.
