I've just found out my 944 needs a major service (12k). Can anyone recommend a good Porsche specialist to take it too? I obviously want to keep the price down, but with the best quality possible.

I can travel to most places in Hert/Essex/London.

Don't know if Berkshire is too far for you, but Northways in Reading is where I take my 944.

Wouldn't let anyone else touch the car now.

I use and recommend www.rpmporsche.co.uk in Herts. The mechanics are all Porsche trained and also ex JZ Machtech, very familiar with 944s. The workshop may not be the most salubrious but that means the labour rate is kept nice and low for them to concentrate on your car, not on shiny showrooms

Similarly, Porschembri in Hounslow is a good value bet for a 944 - see
