993 tiptronic without the steering wheel change?

Guys

I have a 993 tip on a 94, however it does not have the gear change controls on the steering wheel. I am led to believe that this was a change for all 95 on cars? How would I know if my car has the wiring to the steering
wheel so that all I need is a wheel with the controls?

Can any one help!!!

It won't have in on a 1994 model. In 1995 the "tip" became a "tip s" signifying the steering buttons.

I may just buy the steering wheel with the buttons for vanity!!!!

hi...good news...i think...a few years back i had a 964 tiptronic and this was converted to tip`s`by running a wire from transmission tunnel to tiptronic `s` steering wheel..by the guy that sold me wheel...took him minutes to do so cant be difficult...run car for a couple of years with no probs whatsoever..
