997 2S on Track
Discussion
I'd like to take my C2S on a track day. Can anyone advise me what sort of tyre pressures (normal Michelin road tyres) I should be running? Is there any other preparation that I should do to avoid destroying the tyres?
I did a Car Limits day a few weeks back - tyres got pretty hot and are still well marked up.

Do you have any problems with road tyres on a track day? Are you running a standard car without changing the geometry at all?
Mine overheated quite a bit at the Car Limits day and I had to cool it or risk delaminating them - might be something to do with the less than expert way I drive as well though.
It's quite a heavy car to go chucking around - the Lotus Elises had a definite advantage in not stressing their tyres.
