RSR mufflers. three months old, currently on my 1996 993 C2. If you want to come over to my house and swap your stock ones over and give me the same amount of cash as you would have given Gert (minus all the postage of course) then we could do a deal. I spent £180 getting the garage to put them on when I bought them and I don't fancy shelling out again, so if you're handy with a spanner and have a trolley jack...

The RSR's on my car are currently: Bischoff 993/S 06/09

The make and numbers on your existing mufflers would have to be the same apparently.

Gert's run out by the way and it's going to be a long wait...

Aaaargh! If only I was (a) handy with a spanner and (b) rather closer to Sussex than Cheshire!

Oh well - it's for the best, I suppose - it's money I can ill-afford to throw at the car at present, as much as I'd love to improve the exhaust tone.

look into my eyes.

you KNOW you want them.

you KNOW you need them.

you KNOW you must HAVE them

you KNOW how much the others will cost you

Imagine

HOW FANTASTIC

your car

will

SOUND...

When I snap my fingers, you will awake and buy them.

One,

two,

three...

On a long trip, I reckon they sound too Boomy, and so does my eight year son who has to sit in the back.

Zipping about the place at decent revs they sound fanatstic, but stick it on a motorway at low revs and
they can be quite tiring, especially if you're an old git like me who likes to listen to Dire Straits coming
out of the eight track. Sorry, CD.

So let me get this right..............

You get a set of standard mufflers, and the original purchase price of a set of brand new mufflers. And the job you want doing for free?

If so you sir are even cheekier than I!

Not cheeky sir, supply and demand!

My RSRs are three months old and have 500 miles on them.
Gert has no idea when he can supply any RSR's so you could be waiting all year.
If I was any good at this sort of thing and had the tools, then an hour of my time to get to get something
I wanted NOW, I don't think is any big deal.

I'm not forcing anyone to buy them and if others think it's all too cheeky then they can make an offer.

I don't mind keeping them on anyway - it was just a thought...
