Correct Radiator Cap for 1983 944

Hi
I`ve recently had a rebuilt engine in my 944 & the engine block was replaced along with water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses etc etc etc, I`ve had no problems with the engine other than she uses water, i took her to Northway`s & they found a jubilee clip wanted tightening, that was done, & they pressure tested it, that was fine.
I took her home, checked water level in the morning & she`d used water MMMMMM
I took her back, i `d just bought a new Rad Cap, i bought it from Halfords its 15 1050 Z6
is this the correct one for my make, model & year of my 944?
Northway are as confused as i am they suggested also the new Rad Cap.
Can anyone help me, if its the correct one, has anyone any ideas as to what it could be??
