Pretty car, not so pretty price.

60k buys a 996TT a boxster and a 968CS....one for every occasion!

I'd rather buy that than a 996TT, so yes i IMHO it is worth the price

One of those will have to be in my collection when i'm rich!!

Am I missing something here?? This is just a regular 993T4 (ok with a few mods)??

Mine had 39k verifiable miles on it when I bought it ('97 R reg), Turbo S scoops in the rear wings, absolutely mint, and didn't cost ANYWHERE near that!

Its a NICE car but at the end of the day its an OLD car give me a 996tt anyday of the week over that antique.

There is no way that car is worth 60k, its not original spec. Only a Turbo S will command anything like that kind of money, a modded turbo 4 just won't get it. Nice car though!!

I love old cars but 60k for a 10year old 911 is harsh. Few quid more you could have a "mint" 996 GT2 or something else just as tasty. 993 prices are crazy.

993TT performance is still right up there with ANY modern porker despite it's antique appearance.
Built to last too
Value is a matter of opinion of course argue

Spot on...no doubt that the 993 Turbo is awesome but the prices of most 993's are ridiculous

Very nice, but I think i'd save a few pounds and buy this one

www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/166453.htm

As to the 996 debate, well i've never driven a 993 turbo, but based on experiences of 964 C4, 993 C2 tiptronic and 911 Carrera nothing stirs the soul like the air cooled cars (I've also driven 996 C2's C4's C4S's and Turbo)

As someone that does not own 'any' 911 (though was very, very tempted by a superb 50k miler 964 C4 that came my way), based on driving experience, reliability & rarity my money would most definately be heading in the 993's direction (if i had any!)

993 Turbo 4 cloud9

Worth £60k? not sure for that one, but for the very very best definately!

I think some people are getting a bit carried away.

The market is saturated with used prestige and sports cars. If the economy wobbles, prices of a lot of these cars are going to suffer big time.

Absolute motoring porn that GT2. Now compare the 993 turbo to that car no comparison.
