Which is the best CD Mulitplayer
Discussion
hi to all you people out there. I have a question which I hope some of the more expert amongst us can answer for me. I am upgrading the Stereo system in my Car and am undecided which of the following multichangers to go for. I already have a Prosche CDR22 headunit but do not know whether to go for the BECKER Silverstone CD mulitchanger to go with it or the Porsche CDC3. If anyone can advise me on which is the better of the two models to install it would be greatly appreciated. Once against thanks to anyone that can help and regards Gez.
Hi,
Personally, I wouldn't now bother with a CD multichanger....go buy a Dension iceLink+ that plugs into the same port as a changer would normally plug (in fact, on the back of the CDR-22 its an ISO plug), and an iPod 30 or 60GB...it prob still works out cheaper than buying a changer and then getting it installed!
I've still got my changer installed but obviously disconnected, and havent looked back....for starters, if your car does get broken into, theres no precious music collection to nick (or, conversely, no time wasted making backups for the car)...and you can carry your whole collection on the iPod.
HTH, although I appreciate I havent answered your original query!

Take advice first but once you've decided I have a Becker Silverstone changer to sell and also a Denison iPod lead and cradle. I removed this myself from an Audi S8 - it was simply a matter of pulling the stereo (Sat Nav in this particular case) out of the dashboard and unplugging both ends of the adaptor from the original cable and the back of the stereo and then plugging the original cable into the stereo. Very easy indeed, although you may need the tools to remove the radio.
