I'm not sure what the policy is here for shameless self- promotion, but I'll risk it! I've finally launched my sports and classic car hire business - GT Classic Touring - here in Ruthin, North Wales. My '87 911 Carrera is for hire (although, if you are reading this, you may already have one to play with!) as well as a TVR Chimaera 400. I also have an 97 Lotus Elise and a really sweet black MGA Coupe from 1960.

If you have ever thought about driving the roads round here they are bloody brilliant. That's kind of the idea, the cars in the context of some of the best driving roads in the UK. Good hotels (honestly!) and food too.

If you are interested - have a look at www.gtclassictouring.co.uk

I'd welcome any feedback - I've dreamt about doing this for years and it is very exciting to get it to launch.

Cheers

Tom

Good Luck with your business

(remove the last full stop on your website address!)

Can I just ask you, because I've never hired a car before, if you can't find alternative transport, why should the customer lose £50 for an admin charge, surely, you should refund in full no?

if you get the error page delete the last full stop off the address so it reads .co.uk rather than .co.uk.

Thanks for the advice re the hyperlink - edited now!

You are right about the £50 - I nicked the terms and conditions from a couple of other companies and this one made it through. That would be unfair! I'll remove it.

Best wishes

Maybe its me but I can't quite fathom the weekend prices. There seems to be 2 day 1 prices but the weekend is 3 days?
Good to see someone with a Chim to hire. I've been looking for ages.

Thanks for all your good wishes. Weekend is Friday to Sunday (well, we can dream!!) and I've differential prices as North Wales is a tourism hotspot. I'll clarify the website. Cheers again

Good luck with your business - I remember Ruthin very fondly - and the roads locally are just great...wonderful place to drive a classic about.

Make sure you give prospective hirers a tour route that avoids the most likely roads for those evil little camera vans else you'll forever be passing on NIPs!

Sports cars? North Wales? I surprised the Gestapo haven't been round yet
