If you're keeping it where daylight can get to it get a Maplin solar powered trickle charger. They were half price recently but only £19.99 full price and do a great job. Green too. Use the cigar lighter end, the croc clips are not fused.

Southbound are probably good for mats - genuine Porsche materials, about half the price.

Paul, congrats on finally getting her. beer

I purchased my Battery Charger/Conditioner from OPC Newcastle, delivered next day wink

Part No. P955.044.900.55 (31C Charger)

£71.59 + £1.00 (Postage) + VAT = £85.12

I can also recommend http://www.specialisedcarcovers.com/ as the indoor cover I have from them is of very high quality and is tailored perfectly for the dimensions of the car.

HTH.

Do you have to take the battery leads off to get the eyelets on?

You can use the supplied crocodile leads or fix the crimps and short lead for a more permanent fixture. I fitted the short lead without removing the battery terms - just the 13mm (or so) nut then slipped on the crimps.

Another vote for Optimate, great.

I think the beauty of the Porsche item is that it can be plugged into your cigarette lighter for ease of use.

The Porsche item is manufactured by CTEK with the obvious Porsche premium attached rolleyes, why not buy the CTEK labelled product along with the additional cigarette lighter fitment and save a few quid.
