I went to Autocar to check out his 911 project (which is immense, same colour as my 964 project too) and watched his Ferrari 599 for a day clip...Why hasn't this chap got his own TV show...He's terrific value...

Thirded. He is the reason why I am going to change my "subscription to a Porsche mag" from Total 911 to GT Porsche.

I thought his articles on the 997 GT3/GT3 RS and the 3.0 RSR were great this month.

He seems to THINK like me too. E.g. he has been pondering what will happen when his 993 RS is worth more than a 997 GT3 RS? Would he swap? I have been thinking this too!

I've said it before, but I can't wait to see the green project car finished.

He needs to get a subscription video podcast or similar going.

If he went to the mainstream TV, he'd be dumbed down to appeal to more people and end up playing conkers with caravans. rolleyes

Most of us here would love to see a properly hardcore geeky fanatical car show about the same sorts of cars we're interested in. The masses aren't interested in that, so whilst I think he will end up on TV in the next year or two, I suspect he'll become a fifth gear presenter or similar.

Although I guess discovery turbo may have a suitable slot for him, and his programs would also appeal to the americans. How about a 6 x 45 minute series, where in each one he rebuilds a different Porsche with a different ethos in mind when doing it?

I'm sure those dampers are circa £5k. I
think I read that Goodwin wanted some but
couldn't afford it.

Does Harris write about the green car in Autocar this week? Are there any pics in it or driving impressions?

I wasn't a huge fan to begin with, but I think he has got a lot better with confidence. The superkart video made me laugh out loud. Quite impressed now.

Is the car on GT Classics' website his car? Is it for sale already?
