All,

I am about to have lowering springs fitted to my car. As my car has done 50K miles, and I assume they are the oriinal MO30 shocks, should I change them at the same time? Does anyone know how much they cost?

Many thanks.

I don't know which car you have or how old it is. However, in view of the fact that you are going to have the suspension dismantled and a realignment carried out to fit the new springs then you may as well go the whole way and have the dampers changed. Shouldn't be any additional labour just the cost of the parts.

Something I've been wondering about too....going to look on RennList/RennTech for general thoughts on the various shock upgrades available, but have to bear in mind that they're roads/levels of what's acceptable are somewhat different from the UK and European drivers

Maybe some info on there w.r.t. age/mileage, but not had chance to do research yet
