Knocking noise coming from front suspension of 997 C2S

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem. My 997 C2S has been in with my OPC already and they couldn't diagnose. They are taking it again next week to do more investigation work - it's less than 3 months old and has been doing it from new although recently it's become worse

When driving along there is a very faint knocking noise coming from the front of the car. This is obvioulsy increased when the PASM is switched to sport and it is only present when going over bumps

Anyone ideas? Apparently they are having to get in touch with Porsche UK Technical now to try and resolve it

That sounds like drop-links to me,i had the same thing om my 996tt..

They have already checked the strut-tops

Have a look on Design 911 website under suspension section..diagram shows the components ..
