Evening - my 996 Targa 'hatchback' won't shut properly - it normally 'sucks' the glass in once closed but the mechanism is failing. This in itself, is fairly OK - I've got the OPC warrenty. The problem is that because the back is open the lights in the back remain on and it doesn't look like they're going off at all. I leave in the morning for a week by which time the battery will be flat and I won't be able to move it out of the garage. Is there some way I can switch off all the lights now so when I come back I can take it into the OPC? Or am I offically b*ggered?! Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!! WT

Do you have the manual. What cicuit are the interior lights on? Can the fuse be taken out with no effect on the alarm etc?

Thanks for your advice everyone - I'll see what I can do tonight, quick and dirty, then sort it next weekend. Cheers WT
