944 S2 Stereo wire colours...??????

Hi,

I have just got a 944 S2 (1989) and the radio is wired up incorrectly. Does anyone know the colours of the wire that designate front and back, left and right speakers..? Any info much appreciated!!

If it has the orginal speaker plugs then it is as follows:

white plug LEFT FRONT
black plug RIGHT FRONT
yellow plug LEFT REAR
red plug RIGHT REAR

No plugs on? I will take the stereo out & look at the wire colours if needed.

Hi, I'd be really grateful if you could look at the wire colours - specifically both colours for each plug. All the wiring in mine has been butchered.

Left front, white plug, white + white/brown wires.
Right front, black plug, black + black/brown wires.
Left rear, yellow plug, yellow + yellow/brown wires.
Right rear, red plug, red + red/brown wires.
