isnt it rather suspicious that its not insurance recorded and also not been repaired by the original owner ?

When they advertise these damaged cars they
always say it could be repaired cheaply. If
that's the case why don't they get it done
and sell it for more money?

Actually, the seller seems to be very frank about the whole thing.

The owner may have let the insurance lapse or may have been third party. More likely is that the HPI will eventually catch it up and the car will beome a cat c.
