Is it already in the UK?

If it is still in original German LHD spec. you will need to buy RHD headlights and move the fog light over to get through an MOT when that falls due.

Given that there are so many Boxsters on the used market, are you happy with the price you are paying as "wrong-hand drive" is fine (I've done it for 4 years in total, on both sides of the Channel) but there is a rule of thumb that says that wrong-hand-drive is worth approx 30% less in the market place - special models such as 964RS's break the rule of course....

as long as it's a C16 (UK spec) you should be ok but you will have detractors saying it's not worth as much as it's a grey import

maybe it's because they believe the grey imports were made in a different factory wink

German spec cars C00 are easey co convert to pass UK MOT it is a rewire of the rear fog and if you have lightronics just change the direction both are easy DIY jobs or any OPC will do it for an hours labour.
C16 is a red herring as its just UK lux spec, German COO is the same spec but LHD the problem occurs when people buy a top money car in the UK and find it is of a lower spec ie C96.
No one will mistake a COO car for C16 and the saving is huge though interestingly GT3 prices are firmer over there?

Parkers = Jackanory about most cars, probably more so with Porsches.rolleyes

If it's a C16 import (sticker in the service book and under the front luggage compartment cover will show this) then it's absolutely as good as a UK supplied car, and will be indistinguishable from such. Most (though not all) OPCs will happily take in a C16 to re-sell, even if it's only a few weeks old, and will value at exactly the same as a UK supplied car.

Other C number imports are fine too, though check the spec as it may be a little different and this can/will affect the value. For example C98=Cyprus I think - mostly the same spec as UK but alarm may not be to Thatcham Category One standard (OPC can re-programme it for about £250).

I have a german Boxster S which I use both in germany and here. Never caused me any problems whatsoever. Of course its massively more convenient when you are on the other side of the channel.
