Guys

Can anyone recommend a good independent porsche specialist in the Derby/Nottingham area. My 993 is due its annual service.

Cheers.... weeping

Never even heard of HAC?

Most of the people in the know with porkers use Mike at Zentrum in Carlton, Notts (I do for the 964RS and GT3).

He really knows his stuff...was the head service guy at OPC notts for quite a long time and his sidekick now at Zentrum was the guy who took over from him as head mechanic.

They won't tell you to get anything done that doesn't need doing and they are very trustworthy.

Tell them Jason sent you and they'll look after you

Seconded. Always did a great job with my Boxster S.

PH Sportscars at Cavendish Bridge, Shardlow near Castle Donington. Excellent knowledge and very good hourly rate. They looked after my old 944 for years and now service my 944 Turbo but will look after all Porsche models equally well.

Also break porsches for spares, if necessary, and so have some good value parts available.

Often busy (a good sign) so be patient if you ring up or visit on spec, but worth it.

....i'll third that. I have used Mike for several years and have always had excellent service. Very trustworthy. I've been beating the Zentrum drum for years. Good to hear others are having similar experiences.
