Has anyone bought a standard Porsche from Paul Stephens Ltd? If so, how was your experience and how have you found his aftersales service? Any comments would be appreciated!

Do you mind me asking why you're asking? (remembering the name and shame rules we have on this forum).

I bought my car from Paul and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or buy from him again.

I looked at a few cars before buying and the quality of his stock was head and shoulders above everyone else's that I looked at. All in my humble opinion of course.

After sales service.... Well I got a Christmas card from him in the year I bought the car. smile

He gave me a 6 month warranty at no extra cost but in the first 6 months of ownership the only thing that ever failed on me was the battery and it probably would have cost me a tank of petrol (£65) to take it to Suffolk and back so I bought one locally for £70 and saved myself a huge amount of time and unnecessary mileage on the car. I didn't have any other warranty related issues so I have no idea what service he'd give but I'm guessing he has his reputation to think of and the service would be equally as good as when I bought the car.

It's nothing sinister! The only reason I'm asking is because I'm considering buying a car from him. I've spoken to him on the phone and he seems like a really good guy . However, I've recently read some postings on this site re Henry & co at 911 Virgin.com which were expressing some dissatisfaction, so I was just wondering what experiences people had had at Paul Stephens. Seems people's experiences are positive which is fantastic.

This topic made me have a peek at his site .. Some nice clean looking cars , the C4S is especially eye grabbing , with it's low mileage.. Am I wrong in thinking though that the rear spoiler is from a 2S???

Anyone know the car , or have it checked at some stage??

not that I'd be interested or anything ... dum de dum dum dum whistle..

I paid him a few visits when I was looking for my 993 - although I didn't buy from him in the end (so I obviously can't comment on the after sales service!)
Thoroughly nice bloke and the 'no pressure' sales attitude impressed me.
I'd have no hessitation in using them for my next car...

Don't know if the sales guy David is still there, but Jesus can he drive....driving
