Does the VNT turbo cause the remappers problems?
I have to say as far as mapppers go rob's the man.I went down there with a pal to drop mine of in his new 07 clio sport which i might add NO-ONE can yet map.
Rob read the Ecu and within a couple of hours had cracked it and had the new file uploaded in the car.
Very impressive

Which tuner u recommend? what about dms?
I had my 996tt done by DMs..transformed the car with no noticeable downside at all, they have done a few cars for mates of mine across various models..all been superb.Thers an article in one of the Porsche mags this month testing a DMS 997tt..worth a read.997turbocar said:
Just had my 997TT back from Parr. Stage 1 kit ECU + exhaust gives 544hp, also had headers replaced. All by Cargraphic/RS tuning. it really feels like a new car...throttle response, power delivery and sound is just awesome!! Top service from Parr so highly recommended.
Ah so that's yours they have just done. Was it a painless experience? I've had a couple of emails from Lawrence as I'm deliberating between Parr and DMS myself... It seems Parr are working out more expensive, with having to ship the ECU to RStuning. Not sure what exaust DMS use - Milltek?Does the cargraphic exaust have the same tips, or are they twin?
Glad you've noticed an improvement.
I have to say it was pretty painless...they picked up the car and I got it back a week later. I guess it works out a lot more expensive than using DMS but its an expensive car so going with RS/Cargraphic was an easy choice for me.
Just had the car in Germany and its a real monster how it goes. Nice and docile around town but when u pass 3000 revs it is like driving another car. Also put on 20" black Cargraphic wheels with the 20mm lowering kit, looks mean like hell.
If u have any questions just let me know.
