1984 911 stuck in garage.. starter motor seems u/s. need to get it sorted at home by 911 specialist. Car always serviced by AFN (charles follet) but their knowledge of air cooled 911's is fast disappearing. Any recommendations? Car is in Watford/Rickmansworth area.
Hi I live in Rickmansworth and can pop round and take a look. Starter easy to do but more common is bad connection at the solenoid. Are you getting a click when you try to crank it?
