Spurious low brake fluid warning.

Got into my 996 last night (been parked for 2 days) and the 'Check brake fluid' caption appeared. A quick glance under the bonnet showed the level to be OK so I cancelled the warning and set off on the drive home which was only a mile. After about half a mile the brake fuid warning light illuminated although the pedal and brakes felt normal. I am unable to reproduce this fault today and everthing looks normal. I assume I've got a dicky sensor unless there's another explanantion?
