Porsche Paint Colour???
Discussion
Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help i am currently restoring a 1989 Carrera and looking at colours.
The latest 997 GT3 RS has been released as far as i know in the Orange, Black and Green.
What i would like to know is 'what is the greens Official name?' or even paint code?
The car i am relating to features on the front cover of total 911 magazine, or can be found on
http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://ww...
Hope someone can help!!
Cheers

If you are restoring the car to original condition, then it is better to retain the original colour, otherwise you risk devaluing it
If you are building a hybrid or track car, then it's acceptable, but will look best if it's a bare metal respray of the whole shell.
The green is known as Viper Green and first appeared on eaarly pre-impact 911s.
