I have a 964RS with a bolt-in fully adjustable Heigo half cage, six fitment points, 2 wheelarch, 2 gearbox tunnel and 2 at lower seat belt mount points.

I had to loosen the driver's side lower seat belt mount to get some alarm wiring under the cage "foot" and since then the wheelarch mount on the opposite side has been creaking when driving.

Have tried loosening everything off and re-tensioning the cage and mounting bolts to no avail.

Does anyone have any tips?, also does anyone know if the Heigo half cage has any rubber isolation or whether it sould bolt in hard up to the wheelarch? The only rational explanation I can thnk of is that the cage has shifted slightly and either the bolt or cage is now chattering against the wheelarch metalwork when driving.

Any help welcome!
Thanks,
Kevin.

Try taking out all of the bolts except the two going into the inner sill panel. Then check the remaining four fixings are sitting over their holes without having to force them. If you need to then turn the adjusters so that they do. This should do the trick! smile
