I don't know if i'm being paranoid with a 1000miles trip to Le Mans coming up next week but i "think" i can feel a slight stutter/hesitation/misfire when cruising along on a steady throttle in 6th at about 2500rpm. If anything is faulty i would suspect it to be the MAF. So does the extended warranty cover the MAF or not. If it doesn't i'll take it into my local specialist to diagnose if it does i'll take it to the OPC. Also how much is a MAF these days?

Does my possible problem sound like the beginning of a faulty MAF? It may just be me being paranoid but i would like it checking out before i go next week.

MT...how long did it take them to turn your around, i presume it is a fairly simple job?

got mine sorted on the warranty FOC 4 days before we left for lemans last year, not even sure if it was broke I just read on here that if you get a new one you will notice the difference.

so called them, said its been diagnosed as faulty by a specialist, asked if they could get me in before lemans and they did.

took 5 mins to change.

If its not covered then order a Bosch one (its the same part and half the price Porsche will charge you) - they are very easy to change.

Sounds like it could be the MAF, you could try cleaning it & seeing if the problem goes away, just to be sure its MAF related ?
