82' Door window electrical
Discussion
Noticed windows not operating this morning, on closer inspection, the (pale Blue) fuse has blown
Not sure rating, quite hefty I'd imagine by thicknes.
Anyway swapped it with new One, window opened and closed both windows a few times..... fine.
Had a coffee, went back to car
not working again, fuse blown!
replaced fuse again,
blew immediately this time.
Its going in for a new back box in a week or so, but what I might I look for while I'm waiting?

Sounds like the motor's overloading due to excessive force being needed to lower/ raise the glass.
The felt thickens up, and slows the whole mechanism down when left unused for a long period.
Clean the mechanism and lube it. Bit of WD40 on the channels also will help.
Sounds like you may need a new winder motor though.
